Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom teeth often require extraction if there is not enough space in your jaw, and they become impacted, partially erupted, or infected. We can assess your wisdom teeth, and either extract them for you or refer you to an oral surgeon if they are more complicated/ sedation is required.
Root Canals
Root canal treatment is required when the nerve of the tooth is dead or dying. This can be due to decay, deep fillings, trauma or cracked teeth. Root canals have a bad name, but done well it can be a pain-free and highly successful treatment.
Emergency Pain Relief
Toothache is never planned! That’s why we have emergency appointments available every day. Please ring first thing in the morning and we will do our best to get a dentist to see you. Exam & X-Rays
Regular exam and x-rays is important for maintaining a healthy and happy mouth! Your teeth, gums and mouth should be checked by a dentist at least once a year. This will help identify any problems early, making them easier and less costly to treat. We will work with you to make a long-term plan that suits you and your mouth.
Fillings
Fillings are required to repair broken, worn and damaged teeth. By filling the tooth we will restore your teeth back to function and reduce the risk of any further problems with pain or infection.
Tooth Extraction
Teeth can require extraction for many different reasons, such as trauma, pain, orthodontic referral, or wisdom teeth. Extractions can be scary but with some finesse on the dentist’s part does not need to be a nightmare.
Under 18's
Teenagers are eligible for free dental treatment from the time they start High School, until the age of 18. This covers yearly exams, and any restorative work required. Unfortunately, it does not cover orthodontic work. However, we can provide basic advice and arrange a referral to a local orthodontist. We also work with orthodontists if extractions are required as part of your treatment plan.
Aesthetic Dentistry
Although teeth are all about function, looking and feeling good is equally important! We are happy to discuss with you what can be done to improve the appearance of your teeth. Whether this be building up/shaping of teeth, crowns or veneers, or simply tooth whitening.
Tooth Whitening
We offer at-home whitening tray treatments. This is a great way of removing stains from your teeth and lightening and brightening your smile! We will see you initially for an exam appointment to ensure that whitening is a suitable option for you, and then take impressions so that customised trays can be made for your mouth. Once this kit is made up for you, you only need to buy top-ups of the whitening gel and you can whiten your teeth whenever you like!
Dentures
Dentures are a removable replacement for missing teeth. We provide both full and partial dentures. We also provide immediate dentures, if you want to avoid that “gummy” phase! There are many different types of dentures, so make an appointment with us today and we can find the best option for you and your mouth!
ACC
We are a registered provider for ACC. It is important to register any dental or facial injury with ACC to look after yourself and your mouth, now and in the future. We will assess the trauma and provide advice and any treatment required. Co-payment for treatment is required.
Crowns & Bridges
Crowns are a great restorative option when a tooth has been heavily filled or has fractured. Crowns can improve the longevity of the tooth and are great for future proofing your mouth. Bridges are like crowns, but longer. They are a great fixed option for filling any gaps or spaces in your teeth. We recommend you see us at least once a year for scaling and cleaning. If your gums require more work than this, we can talk you through this and make a plan that suits you and maintains happy, healthy gums.
